Q. When will I see results?

A. Two weeks following the first treatment you will begin to see results and significantly less hair will grow back. Additionally, with each treatment, the amount of hair regrowth will decrease.

Q. How long does each treatment take?

A. The typical regimen is 6-10 treatment sessions, spaced 4-12 weeks apart. Treatment time depends on the area being treated. The average treatment takes approximately 15 minutes.

Q. Why are multiple treatments necessary?

A. About 20-25% of human hair follicles on the body are in the active growth phase at any given time. This is the percentage of hair follicles that can be destroyed in a single treatment session. ln order to eliminate up to 90% of the hair, treatments should be repeated until the desired result is achieved.

Q. WHAT ARE NEUROMODULATORS?

A: Neuromodulators are wrinkle-relaxing injections – commercially known as Botox Cosmetic, Dysport or Xeonmin – that are used to treat winkles, frown lines and crow’s feet specifically. Neuromodulators help weaken the contraction of the muscle that forms wrinkles. In addition to this they will be treating those with TMJ, Acne and Hyperhidrosis for those that suffer from excessive underarm sweating. This treatment treats the underlying muscle, causing it to relax and gradually smooth out the appearance of the overlying skin.  
 
Q: DOES YOUR NURSE TEAM USE BOTOX OR DYSPORT FOR TREATMENTS?
A: Our nurses product of choice is Dysport. It’s known for lasting longer, dispersing better, a lighter feel and being more cost effective for clients. However, clients can request Botox in advance. Please be aware that there is a difference in price for Botox. 
 
Q. DO YOU OFFER FILLER?

A: Totally Refreshed will NOT be offering Fillers (cheekbone enhancements, lip fillers etc). Our new service will be strictly focused on slowing down the aging process gracefully and creating settle enhancements that are almost unrecognizable to the human eye. Clients can expect to have a more refreshed appearance.

Q: WILL IT HURT? 
A: It’s minimally painful, they’re very small needles so it will feel similar to a mosquito bite
 
Q: WHAT SHOULD I AVOID BEFORE TREATMENT?

A: Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to procedure-increased risk of bleeding/bruising. If you are taking any blood thinning medications please do not stop without consulting a physician or one of our medical division staff, but know the risk of bruising increases
 
Q: WHAT SHOULD I AVOID POST INJECTION?

A: Stay upright for 2-4 hours -to avoid migration of the product from the intended area. Avoid heavy exercise for the remainder of the day (increased risk of bleeding/bruising). Avoid hot tubs, baths, steams. Keep area clean and uncovered from makeup and headwear -avoid infection
 
Q: CAN I GO BACK TO WORK AFTER?

A: There may be some redness at the injection sites which will subside. It’s up to the client what they feel comfortable with. Other than some slight redness or possible bruising there is no real downtime from this
procedure compared to other aesthetic procedures, and clients are welcome to use mineral makeup on the site the next morning to cover up any possible bruising.
 
Q: WILL I BRUISE?

A: The face is very vascular so it is always a risk, but your injector will take steps to minimize it.
