Sonja has undergone extensive training in oncology massage and is the only therapist on our team who specializes in this service at this time.
Sonja understands that cancer and its treatments can have a profound impact on the body and mind. She is trained to adapt her massage techniques to accommodate the unique needs and limitations of clients with cancer, including those experiencing fatigue or pain. She will tailor your massage to address your specific concerns and preferences while avoiding areas of the body that may be sensitive due to surgery, radiation, or other treatments.
The first appointment is 60 minutes in length, which includes the intake process. The intake can vary from 2-15 minutes approximately, depending on the client's needs. The balance of the 60 minutes after the intake is massage time. From there, clients can book additional sessions for 30, 60, or 90 minutes, depending on their preferences and needs.
To ensure the best care for our clients, all individuals must fill out an online waiver at least 24 hours prior to their appointment. It is also important for clients to communicate any mobility issues with our receptionist, as this will help us provide the best possible care during the appointment.
